In the past when you've looked at smoking advertisements, I'm pretty sure you noticed smoking ads that depicted appealing settings; for instance, recall the cowboy riding on a horse in the snow surrounded by the majestic snowy mountain background. And then there was the ad with the tall slim - beautiful girl. As you became lost in the wonder and attractiveness of each fantasy scene, the advertisers hired by the cigarette companies did a great job building a pleasant and favorable story in your mind that equated to, "smoking is good for me and yes, I do want to smoke." Remember for a moment, what was the one thing - that each of these two models had in their possession in their advertisement? If you responded with, "a cigarette" you are correct.

As you looked at these advertisements, you were mesmerized by them. Because you liked the idea of the 'story images', the ads presented to your subconscious mind - some very pleasurable thoughts and feelings. You probably noticed that the models looked satisfyingly contented and at ease. They seemed to be really enjoying the moment with their cigarette companion; as a smoker that sure worked for you. Because you liked those ideas, those pleasant story interpretations went into your subconscious mind (your internal computer), they built upon acceptable images of smoking or chewing previously stored in your subconscious mind. Even though you had perhaps been considering stopping smoking or stopping chewing - because you like these new ad depictions, your subconscious mind also stored these new internal messages and ideas with other pictures. They looked, felt and sounded something like, "smoking gives me pleasure, my cigarette is my friend; yes, I like smoking, it makes me feel really good.”

Ok, sever those advertising tactics - time for reality. I ask you, HONESTLY, how many true friends do you have that are a 'companion killer'? Would true friends really take over your life, controlling you to the point that you find every time you follow through with a habit or complete a particular task - you feel you have to 'light up’? (Your limbic system and dopamine want to be satisfied and rewarded; my program helps you with this). Let’s be realistic here, true friends do NOT control you! The reason you feel like you HAVE TO light up, is because you are being controlled by the poisonous tobacco.
